Fuad Muradov, Chairperson of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora, led a delegation in a meeting with Salim M. AlMalik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), at ICESCO headquarters in Rabat.
The meeting focused on exploring potential cooperation in areas of mutual interest, aiming to enhance collaboration between Azerbaijan and ICESCO.
AlMalik highlighted the success of joint programs and projects between Azerbaijan and ICESCO, expressing gratitude for the continuous support from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijani authorities for ICESCO’s initiatives.
Fuad Muradov praised ICESCO’s efforts in supporting its member states and detailed the objectives of Azerbaijan’s diaspora committee, emphasizing the diaspora’s role in promoting Azerbaijani culture globally.
The discussion also covered ICESCO’s plans to engage member states in initiatives focused on youth empowerment and the importance of preserving national cultures.
Following the meeting, Muradov and his delegation toured the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization at ICESCO headquarters.
